Strawberry Pie..So easy and delicious

I think that strawberry pie is my absolute favorite pie ever. It is so simple to make and everyone loves it.

Its even better if you have fresh stawberries picked right out of your garden. Its still to early here for berries so I had to use store bought but its still yummy.

                                                               Strawberry Pie

This recipe makes two 8 inch pies. You can either make your own pie crust or buy the refrigerator type thats premade. I used premade. First you need to bake your pie crusts and let them cool. Follow the directions on your packaging.

While they are cooling put one cup of sugar and 3 tablespoons of cornstarch in a saucepan.

Mix it up really well and then add 1 cup of boiling water . Cook over medium heat til it thickens Remove from heat then add one 3oz package of jello. Stir till its smooth. Let cool to room temperature.

While you are waiting clean and slice 2 1/2 quarts of strawberries.

Divide them between your baked pie shells. Pour the cooled strawberry mixture over the strawberries and then put in the refrigerator til your ready to serve.
