Peppermint Stick Foot Scrub

One of the gifts I am making this year are homemade sugar scrubs. This one so far is my favorite.Smells wonderful and actually works better than any store bought product  I  have tried . Super easy and quick.
This one is just needing a tag and a scoop and it will be done. You can use any container you like. I just happened to find this for a family memeber who collects Precious Moments. Give it a try. Just be careful or let the person know that will be receiving that the scrubs do contain oil and can make your shower/bathtub slippery.
Peppermint Stick Foot Scrub
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup sunflower oil
a few drops of peppermint essential oil ( I ordered mine from brambleberry)
a drop of red food coloring for a peppermint look (optional)

Mix together oil and sugar.Add oil to sugar so you can add more or less if needed. Depending on the consistency you like
Add a few drops of essential oil and food coloring
Make sure to mix well
Put the mixture in a glass jar or other container for storage

How to use:
Scoop out a small amount, rub in a circular motion on feet.
Rinse.

Spa tip: Use a moisturizer right after the foot scrub to lock in the moisture.
Do treatment at night put on lots of lotion, slip on some socks and sleep that way overnight.
Wake up to soft feet! :)
